Molly Dimeo

Molly Dimeo is a watercolor painter based in Miami, Florida. Her practice explores the emotional and textural qualities of landscape through fluid, layered compositions inspired by travel, design, and the natural world.

From a family of creatives, Dimeo was raised to see art and design in everything around her—she is a third-generation graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. Deeply influenced by her experiences in nature and the dynamic patterns of the planet’s weather and geology, she translates these impressions into paintings that balance observation and abstraction. Through the fluidity of watercolor, she builds translucent layers that mirror the accumulation of time and memory within the landscape.

Her works capture fleeting impressions of weather, terrain, and atmosphere, translating them into color and form. Dimeo seeks to convey the shifting relationship between external environment and internal experience—the way moments in nature linger, reshape, and resurface through the creative process.

Molly’s artwork has been available for sale at Mary Mahoney’s store in Palm Beach since 2010. The 365 Flora series which was inspired by the store in ongoing.
